Intel’s Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X new processors is rumored to be released early than expected , it was expected to arrive late August at Gamescom but now will be expecting the Intel new CPUs at Computex which kicks off on May 30 and runs through June 3 in Taipei.
According to Techreport, the Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X are expected to share R4 socket aka LGA 2066. The Skylake-X processors is reported to pack about six to 10 cores, support quad-channel DDR4 memory and have loads of PCIe 3.0 lanes. And the Kaby Lake-X are reportedly limited to just four cores, dual-channel memory and far fewer PCIe lanes.
The new chipset will be the successor to the latest Core i7-6950X Extreme Edition “Broadwell-E” processor which serves as Intel’s flagship chipset. These chipsets are expected to go head to head with AMD’s new Zen-based processor(Ryzen).
That all we got about Intel’s new chipsets but we are but certain of everything still it be released.
